Prestons & Kerlys was established by Stanley Richard Preston in 1880 in East London, and although the firm has undergone several name changes since those early days, we continue to strive to provide the same excellent service to the community that was the goal of the founding partners over 100 years ago.
The Firm has entered the new millennium seeking to continue to offer the local community an affordable access to the law.

The Firm first opened its office at Security House Chambers on Wilson's Corner in 1972 since when we have established a reputation in Brentwood's business and residential community for providing legal services at a competitive price with an emphasis on client care. We are members of the Brentwood Legal Service Partnership.
We are pleased to offer a free half hour initial interview on all Family Law Cases, and can offer "No-win, No-Fee" agreements on Personal Injury cases. The Firm is pleased to offer competitively priced "after the event insurance" through Amicus Legal Limited.
The Firm holds a Franchise in Family Law Matters from the Legal Services Commission and we are pleased to be able to undertake Publicly Funded (formerly
Legal Aid) work.
